Christian Mission South Haiti – March 2025 Newsletter
Dear Friends and Supporters,
As we enter March, we give thanks to God for His faithfulness and for each of you who continue to support our mission in Haiti. Your prayers, generosity, and encouragement sustain us as we serve those in need. Despite the many challenges our nation faces, we remain steadfast in our calling to bring the light of Christ to those who suffer.
Hope Amid Hardship
Haiti continues to experience deep struggles—violence, fear, and economic instability have placed a heavy burden on families and communities. We grieve the recent tragedy where over 200 elderly individuals were unjustly killed due to accusations of witchcraft. This heartbreaking event reminds us of the spiritual and societal wounds in our nation and the urgent need for God’s healing and justice.
Despite these hardships, we press on in faith, committed to sharing Christ’s love and being a beacon of hope in the darkness.
Exciting News: The Opening of Les Cayes International Airport!
Amidst these challenges, we celebrate a significant step forward! The newly opened Les Cayes International Airport – Antoine Simon is a major blessing for our region. This new international access will make it easier for mission teams, supporters, and resources to reach us. We pray this development will lead to stronger partnerships, increased mission efforts, and expanded opportunities to serve our communities.

Upcoming Event: Spire Convention 2025
We are excited about the opportunity to attend the Spire Convention 2025, which will be held at Southeast Christian Church. This gathering will allow us to connect with churches and potential supporters who can partner with us in our mission. To fully participate, we need your support to secure a booth for the three-day event. This is an incredible opportunity to share our story, build relationships, and expand the reach of Christian Mission South Haiti.
Urgent Needs & How You Can Help
While we celebrate progress, the needs of our mission remain urgent. We humbly ask for your continued support in these critical areas:
🔋 Solar Battery Support – With no electricity since 2017, our mission relies on solar power. We urgently need at least two (ideally twelve) new batteries ($225 each) to keep our church, school, and mission operational.
🥖 Rising Costs of Living – Food, medicine, and supplies are increasingly expensive due to inflation and instability. A single bag of rice now costs $100. Your support helps provide essential aid to struggling families.
🏍 Motorcycles for Our Preachers – Many of our pastors serve in remote areas. A motorcycle ($2,000 each) will help them travel and share the Gospel with those in need.
📻 Radio Transmitter for Outreach – Our transmitter, lost in the earthquake, was a vital tool for evangelism. Replacing it ($2,500) will allow us to spread the message of Christ to more people.
🎒 School & Community Support – Our school provides education and nourishment for children in need, but rising costs make it harder to provide meals and supplies. Every gift helps us sustain this vital ministry.
