Dear Friends, Supporters, and Prayer Partners,
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. As we reflect on the journey behind us and the road ahead, we are filled with gratitude and a renewed sense of mission. We are excited to share with you that Christian Mission South Haiti (CMSH) is celebrating 32 years of unwavering ministry in the name of Jesus.
Since our founding in 1992, the Lord has used this mission to reach souls, plant churches, educate children, care for orphans, and uplift entire communities. As we look back over these years of service, we give God the glory for sustaining this work and for the lives that have been transformed through the power of the Gospel.

Our theme for this year of 2025 is rooted in Philippians 1:6:
“Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
We believe that God is not finished with us—or with the people of Haiti. While the challenges are many, we know He will continue the work He began in this ministry, and in the hearts of those we serve.
A Call to Action: Rebuild and Renew for the Future
While we celebrate 32 years of service, we are also faced with urgent needs that require immediate attention. Several of our churches—faithful outposts of the Gospel—are in desperate need of repair or reconstruction.
One of the most urgent projects is the Ceide Church of Christ, where faithful believers currently worship under a tarp, exposed to the sun and rain. Despite these harsh conditions, the church gathers faithfully to worship and grow in the Word. We are urgently seeking support to construct a safe, permanent church building for this congregation. This is more than a building—it is a spiritual home, a sanctuary of hope.
The Crisis in Haiti: A Nation in Need
Our ministry continues in the midst of severe national hardship. The conditions in Haiti have deteriorated significantly over the past year:
Poverty has deepened. Families are going hungry, unable to afford even basic essentials.
Armed gangs are expanding into new territories, creating widespread fear and forcing many to flee their homes.
Government services are nearly non-existent, placing even greater pressure on churches to serve as places of safety, aid, and stability.
Despite these challenges, CMSH remains a beacon of hope. Our churches, schools, and community programs are a lifeline to thousands of Haitians who have nowhere else to turn.
Current Ministry Needs – How You Can Help
To continue this vital work, we need your support in the following key areas:
1. Ceide Church Construction Project
We are raising funds for cement, blocks, wood, roofing, nails, and labor. The total cost is projected at $20,000 USD or more. This is our top building priority, and every gift helps bring this new church home closer to reality.
2. Repairs to Other Church Buildings
Many of our congregations meet in buildings damaged by storms, age, or lack of maintenance. Your support helps restore these houses of worship for safe, consistent use.
3. Transportation for Preachers
Our preachers often walk long distances or rely on borrowed motorcycles to reach rural congregations. We are seeking funding for reliable transportation so they can travel safely and effectively continue their ministry work.
4. A 300-Watt Radio Emitter for Evangelism
Our radio station reaches listeners with daily messages of faith, news, and encouragement. But our current equipment is outdated. A 300-watt emitter will allow us to expand our signal and reach even more souls across the region.
5. School Meal Program
Many of our students come to class without having eaten. We want to provide at least one nutritious meal per day for every child. This small gesture can have a lasting impact on student health, concentration, and development.
6. Fair Salaries for Teachers
Our teachers are among the most dedicated in Haiti, yet many receive inconsistent or minimal pay. We are working to provide fair, monthly salaries that reflect their essential role in educating and mentoring the next generation.
Stewardship and Accountability
We are prepared to move forward with these initiatives immediately. Our schools are open, our teachers are teaching, and our students are learning. The infrastructure is in place—we simply need the financial support to fully equip and sustain the work. All funds are carefully managed, and donors receive clear updates on how their contributions are used.
You Can Make a Difference
Your support—whether through giving, praying, or spreading the word—is a powerful way to stand with the people of Haiti in this critical time.
Give: One-time or recurring gifts are welcome and directly impact our ministry work.
Sponsor a Project: Individuals or churches can adopt specific needs, such as a classroom, radio equipment, or a preacher’s motorcycle.
Pray: We covet your prayers for Haiti, for safety, for provision, and for spiritual renewal.
Share: Tell others about CMSH and help us expand our support network.

Looking Ahead with Hope
While the world around us grows darker, we are not discouraged. We are reminded of the promise in Philippians 1:6:
“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
We stand on this promise as we enter our 33rd year. With your help, we will rebuild churches, feed children, support our teachers, and share the Gospel across the southern region of Haiti.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Thank you for your prayers, your generosity, and your faithfulness. Together, we will continue the good work.
In Christ’s service,
